There is no account required to try it. There is no folder structure to maintain. There is no team plan to configure. You drag a PDF onto the page and within about thirty seconds you are asking questions of a 200 page annual report, a dense research paper, a lease agreement, or a textbook chapter. For that specific job, ChatPDF is faster than Perplexity, faster than pasting the text into ChatGPT, and cleaner than most enterprise document tools. The tool has competition on every side. Humata does the same thing with a slightly more researcher oriented feature set. NotebookLM from Google does the same thing for free with a stronger model.
