Overview Emergent is the agentic vibe coding platform that emerged in 2024 2025 as a bet that the next wave of software would be built by people who don't want to open a terminal. You describe an app in plain language, an autonomous team of AI agents plans it, builds it, tests it, and hands you back a running preview in a browser. There is no IDE, no CLI, no git checkout. Just a spec and a running app — and the ability to iterate on that app by talking to it. This puts Emergent in a different category from the tools most engineers reach for when they think "AI coding."
